I had a blog in mind today, but that shall have to wait.
I was deeply saddened today to read the news of John hughes death, in my mind the unsurpassed genius of comic direction through the 80’s.
Planes, Trains and Automobiles probably tops the charts of films I have gone back to watch again and again. Heralded as the ‘bard of teen angst’, John also knew his way around the adult heart. He shall be deeply missed.

I loved the Breakfast Club, Some kind of Wonderful and…..the best for me was Pretty in Pink. Seen it at least 15 times. I’m thinking they’re his… as I haven’t backed this up with research. Never saw Sixteen Candles…
